Initially, when I started thinking about creating this food blog, I was considering going on a Calamari Quest to find the best restaurants that serve it. Can I tell you about about one of my trips to Maui?
So… in one day, my friend and I ventured around Maui. We literally stopped at so much restaurants just because they had a sign/banner advertising their calamari! So YEP! We did it.. We went there just to try their calamari and bounced. Some restaurants were better than others but there is only one restaurant in Maui that I HAVE TO eat at EVERY time I visit. Hands down the BEST calamari on Maui… IMO!
Kula Bistro
A hidden gem located in Kula, Maui. The calamari sauce is so good that if I had some bread, I would totally dip it in. Every thing on the plate complements each other in every bite.
Aside from their calamari, I also ordered the steak sandwich and turkey panini. Yes, both! Why? Because I just couldn’t decide haha. The portions are huge and worth the price point. It’s a shame I didn’t make it to dessert. All of their desserts looked really good too. I swear I scoped the dessert display before ordering my food. Ah, I’m drooling and wishing I could just get everything delivered to me in Vegas right now.
